What is Chem-E Jeopardy?

Chem-E Jeopardy is a competition designed to assess the knowledge of students in various facets of chemical engineering, encompassing topics such as material and energy balances, fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, thermodynamics, chemical reaction engineering, chemical process safety, biochemical engineering, and more. The competition employs a traditional buzzer system, allowing teams of up to four members to engage by buzzing in to respond. Points, ranging from 100 to 500 in the regular round and 200 to 1000 in the double jeopardy round, are awarded based on the accuracy and speed of the teams' answers.

Regionals 2023

In April 2023, Stony Brook University Chem-E Jeopardy team attended the Regionals competition in Virginia and placed 3rd.
